The harvest is coming in, the trees are turning their gold and crimson shades, the Fall foliage is deepening into its most mellow and vibrant shades, and crackling fires are welcome warmth in the evenings...
Ahhhhh...it must be that Autumn is arriving after all! I was reluctant to let go of our sweet summertime in Maine, but within the past couple of days or so, the fresh Fall briskness in the air has been a welcomed friend! I relished what little of Autumn's fruits we had in TX...so glad to get some relief from that scorching, blazing, unceasing summer heat of July and August.
Anybody out there with 'leaf-peeping' plans should make their trek to New England soon! The color looks to be the best it's been in awhile (although every year is gorgeous)...and the apple orchards are boasting the best and most burgeoning crop of apples in some time! Since we see the first of Autumn's Arrival before most of the rest of the nation does, I decided it's only fair to share it with those of you who won't see the signs of Fall for a few weeks yet...or not at all!
And now that you're thinking Fall foliage and harvest time, take a peek at this great Hobby Farm Home magazine I pounced upon recently! It is just packed with farmy homestead ideas and crafts. I'll be sharing much more from this great find!
