Kiddos in the Kitchen
This is my mom in her element (and her 1970's apron. Does vintage '70's fabric ever fade?) surrounded by grandchildren and sticky frosting at the little table she will ALWAYS have in her kitchen!
Kiddos in the Garden
Gardens and children just grow together! Our kiddos stay entertained for hours in our teeny little garden! It becomes massive acreage to their little farm animals that spend as much time out there as the beans and carrots do!

Country Kiddos
You always know country kids when you see 'em. They're usually wielding something either bigger, sharper, or more powerful than they are!
And lovin' every minute of it!

Homespun Kiddos
No, my children aren't knitting--yet--but they know the difference between a knitting needle and a crochet hook. That's progress! And they like to cast-on. They have started doing some needle work with the 'pointy' needles (as opposed to plastic). So they've basically passed up their mother (who still uses plastic needles). Isn't learning when you're young grand?
Update: My older girls (7 & 10) are knitting now. I'm thrilled! They can cast on, knit, and bind off all by themselves...and are making blankets a plenty for dollhouse and farm animals!
The girls will be starting on their trousseau very soon, only because I love the word "trousseau" and despite the fact that their father will probably lock them up and never allow them to get married.

Kiddos and Home-Life
This is what true home-life is all about! And what we value so much! Little ones tag along, fall asleep, play around, make-believe and make-do however, where ever, or when ever we happen to be a-doin' it!
