I've found myself buried under a pile of wonderfully woolly sweaters that I'm now in the process of felting. I've actually never felted before...but it seems easy enough...and fun enough!
I LOVE these heathery hues with all the intricate cables, patterns. rolled cuffs and sleeves. It's official. It's all over...I simply go weak in the knees over thick knitted woolly sweaters...some even from Scotland...the heart and home of woolly woolen wear!
While we're on the subject of knitted woolens, as you probably are already aware, I adore all things Scandinavian, too. So you must know how much I adore my new friend, Anna Lisa, from Norway...she's already told me that she's a dreamy romantic through and through...and you must go see how she swaddles her baby for snowy afternoon walks! She also knits some super-thick, super-cute socks!! (Hint: we put google translator to work!)
I have absolutely no idea how these gorgeous sweaters will all end up being loved on...or in...or what new creations await this stack of homespun fun! I may just decide to leave them exactly the way they are...where they are...that old farm chair never looked so scrumptious as it does now...loaded with wondrous wool!
