I mentioned yesterday how that little scene inspired me to reach to grander heights for my own front stoop. I still have a ways to go...but things are certainly improving in my little front stoop world. Isn't it amazing what flowers can do for a place...or just a tiny space?? These poor wicker chairs have weathered 3 winters and are showing the wear...but all those cheerful flowers don't seem to mind a bit. And if they don't mind...well, I don't mind either! ; )
Here I am peeking through the panes of the front door...
We've got some old weathered barn boards behind the shed that I'm having my hubby turn into a box to match the dimensions of the small wicker table. Once that's done, all those blooms can hopefully burst out and overflow to their heart's content! Hubby's already been busy constructing me some wonderful cedar window boxes to 'rustic up' the place...something that the bland vinyl siding is in dire need of...in my 'rustic' opinion anyway! But we're off to a much bloomier beginning now...and I'm thrilled! : D
